His paintings, like his films, work to simultaneously entice and repel his viewers, embracing dichotomies. While his paintings can be found in institutions such as the MoMA and the Whitney, the three archival paintings [Blue Check Success, Nudity Clause Line, Photo Spirit Looper] featured on the anniversary PS1 were shown at a 2014 exhibition at the Gagosian.Harmony Korine’s bold vision makes him a strong, sought-after voice in the contemporary world. It is with this ethos that Proenza Schouler enters into their third collaboration with the filmmaker in order to bring the cult classic PS1 to life - in a true collector's fashion no less.
