So who is the talented man behind these beautiful faces?
Giacomo Alessi was born in the beautiful town of Caltagirone, Sicily where he still lives and creates his masterpieces.
Caltagirone itself is well regarded as 'the city of ceramics', where many Artists learn their craft from ancient family techniques and traditions. While Alessi holds onto his family traditions, he also takes pride in researching modern materials and techniques which make his work a perfect culmination of modernism and tradition.
Along with his wife Giovanna, they founded Alessi Ceramiche, a brand producing unique, colourful and visually impactful pieces telling a Sicilian story of their own.
