A Foodie's Guide To Paris

January 15, 2019

Back from another whirlwind buying trip, we let you in on our newest go-to foodie favourites in the city of lights!

Da Roco Bourse Paris Restaurant

Da Roco

6 Rue Vivienne, 75002

Located in the former Jean-Paul Gaultier showroom (the waiters wear marinieres as an homage to the French designer), Da Roco is the place to go for the most delicious wood fired pizzas, truffle infused pastas and cleverly named tipples (Daginto or Daspritz anyone?!).

Perfect for a fun night out with friends, this incredible warehouse style, yet intimate open space is filled with blue velvet, green marble and an incredible mirrored ceiling.

What to wear: Think fun mini dresses and oversized shirts.

L'Alcazar

62 rue Mazarine, 75006

From the moment you pass through the double doors and head down the tiled corridor into the main dining room, L'Alcazar has already won you over. Lush tropical trees and plants fill the cavernous room, expertly soaking up sound and providing many a cosy corner from which to people watch and enjoy the fabulous fare.

L'Alcazar is the ideal Left Bank location for a fun night out (with or without the fashion crowd)! Mixing a truly eclectic setting with designer decor and French bistro classics, you really can't go wrong!

What to wear: Pair a mini skirt with an oversized blazer or a floaty silk blouse.

Miznon Restaurant Marais Paris

Miznon

22 rue de Ecouffes, 75004

Quick bites don't come any more delicious than those from Tel Aviv import, Miznon. Located in the heart of the Marais, Miznon's food is simple, melt in your mouth, honest fare. With piles of the day's fresh produce decorating the space (red peppers, cauliflowers, lemons, tomatoes) and queues out the door, it's easy to see the restaurant go through this and more in a sitting. The buzzy, casual and friendly ambience only adds to the appeal.

Our recommendation...don't miss out on the whole roasted cauliflower as a side to your freshly baked pita with delicious meats, fish or veg options, fillings and sauces to choose from. Trust us when we say this is one of the best meals we've had in Paris.

What to wear: Keep it casual with denim and a relaxed t-shirt.

Monsieur Bleu

20 Avenue de New York, 75116

With the distinct advantage of a direct line of sight and oh, say, a stones throw to the Eiffel Tower, Monsieur Bleu pleases both the eye and the stomach!

A beautiful setting inside as well, from one of our favourite interior designers Joseph Dirand, Monsieur Bleu is swanky without too much pretension. The sleek interiors and delicious menu, long drinks list and attentive hospitality make it a great night out - with the added advantage that every hour the Eiffel Tour sparkles and you can try once more to get the perfect pic!

What to wear: Elegant in every way, opt for tailored pants or a flowing dress.
